What does it take?
Now this I really want to get off my chest!
I have to just rant a bit and say that I think it is a shame that everyone seems to be out there saying just get into a MLM company and you will get rich. We all know that isn't the case, so why do we push the image of this wonderful industry down into the underground by using this pitch?
There is no such thing as a free lunch. You need money or time to make money. If you have money, you can put it to work for you and it will make you more money. If you don't have money, you can invest a tiny amount into MLM and put your time to work for you to get wealthy! Once you have the money, you can put it to work for you as well and make even more!
Why don't we all start telling people the truth about what it takes to make money in the MLM industry? Tell them proudly that it will cost them about $200 a month to build a reasonable business over time.
Lets also tell them that they will have to obtain skills they don't currently have in order to make it. Lets tell them it will definately take a minimum of 5 hours a week and more than likely an hour a day or 7 hours a week to have a chance of success?
Let everyone know if you are not coachable, it is going to cost you more and take you more time and a longer time to reach success.
Tell people if you give up easily, DON'T JOIN! Stay doing your job, and making your wage, and stay happy being poor!
Just a little rant, but if we are going to make good people interested in this industry, we have to stop lying to people.
Seems to me what most distributors do these days is the equivalent of telling people they will make $100,000 a year at McDonalds and they can skip all the training and only show up to work when they feel like it. That is simply NOT TRUE!!
