Using a FREE e-book can generate an awful lot of long term traffic.

People searching for information on the topic of your e-book can download your book, read it, and pass it on to as many people they know who may be interested.

The real benefit of the e-book is you write it to support your products, services or business model as being the best way to do things.

This gets your customers and potential customers in the frame of mind that in order to have a good experience with whatever products and services your company offers, they will need to deal with a company who has the qualities of your company.

If your company can be made out to be unique enough, it can leave your potential customers feeling your company is the only one doing things in a manner to be the best!

Some things you can do in your book is put a guide on how to find the perfect _____________ company. Of course the blank is whatever your company does.

How do I do it?

Before writing your e-book, it is a good idea to go surf the net and download a bunch of e-books and look over them. Decide what you like and what you don't like from what others have written. This can help you a lot with the format of your e-book. This saves time in the long run.

Writing an e-book can be easy if you have followed our suggestions on having an E-zine or Newsletter.

You can take the content you have written for your e-zine and re-organize it into topics which become your chapters, then add in any transitions you need, and write the sales pitch within the book, and whammo, you have an e-book.

You may find the sales pitch is already contained within your e-zine articles so it could be extremely easy.

You could also add answers from your FAQ into the book.

As you see, if you are working with a proper Internet Strategy, all the pieces just keep building on one and other, and it doesn't actually take a lot of time to move from one point to the next in your strategy. Ahhh, the power of the Internet and Planning!

I have seen a lot of good e-books and bad e-books. The good ones get kept and referred on, the bad ones get discarded to the recycle bin.
