Autoresponders
Autoresponders, what are they in relation to Sales Force
Automation?
Now that is a very very good question. Think of
autoresponders as your automated sales force that never takes
holiday's, never gets sick, and never complains or asks for a raise!
Our Sales Force Automation software contains an
unlimited number
of these salespeople or support people for you to configure or use.
Autoresponders are simply an automated series of emails that you
can send to a Sales Lead, or somebody looking for Support or
basically any other idea you can think of.
If we stick with our Beauty Salon Example, one of the things they
are using them for is to automate follow up and rebooking of
appointments. The day a customer comes in, they set the
customer to start a series of emails that the first one will go out
the following day. This email contains thank you for coming
and asks if the service was great and if they are satisfied and
gives the bosses personal phone number to call if anything was
wrong.
That email also offers to give the customer a discount on any
products the may have "forgotten" to pick up the previous day at
their appointment and offers an apology if the Stylist forgot to
recommend the products they would need in order to keep themselves
looking amazing.
Over the next 8 weeks the system sends out some special offers
and educates on the hair setting service that Aoi Beauty Studio can
do and reminds the client when it may be time to schedule an
appointment for their next touch up.
After about 8 weeks it offers a discount to the customer as Aoi
knows that 8 weeks later, they may have lost the customer so the
system becomes all about customer retention.
There are a million uses for Autoresponders, this is just one of
them.
More often they are simply used to follow up with a Sales Lead
that has been through your sales funnel and lead them to a point of
purchase or contact. If you employ a shopping cart, they could
just be educated on the products they need and directed to the
shopping cart to purchase.
The great part about this system is that after a purchase the
system could automatically switch them to a different series
starting to educate them on a different product they may want, or
following up on the product purchase they made. That is POWER!
